I bought a salad bowl ($12)for lunch today. The salad looks good from outside. However, some bottom salad leaves are wet and rotted. Those salad leaves should be on their way out instead of selling to customers.

This sushi place blew me away. Incredibly affordable but really high quality and fresh sushi rolls, with some great vegetarian options too. Mainly takeaway but there are 4 or so tables outside. We went back both days we were in Canberra and would go back daily if we lived or worked locally.

I never expected to find a wonderful sushi shop near a YHA in Canberra. What a find just before I headed to the Airport by bus. The ingredients are fresh, price reasonable, all the choices look appetising. I don’t usually give 5 stars, but they deserve it.

I tried this place out because of the reviews here and I wasn’t disappointed. The salmon salad bowl was fresh and delicious, with a generous amount of salmon. The scallop nigiri also tasted super fresh, and the rice in the inari had great texture. I’ll definitely go back.
