Our go-to for Pizza in Hervey Bay. Have been there dozens of times and am always impressed. Consistently great food, service and atmosphere. Love that it’s walk-in only so we’ve always been able to get a table; even on busy nights it’s usually only a short wait.

We have been here before on 2022 and came back with high expectations. However, this time, way overpriced and the food was not great. Pittza was scrappy, and mediocre, prawn pasta was average, and the bruschetta was abysmal, 2 bits of rye bread that you couldn’t break for $20.

Very good wood oven Pizza, normal price and good size and amount of ingredients. One thing I noticed is some of the vegetable toppings may not be as warm as the rest of the Pizza itself, probably the oven is too hot that it will cook the dough and cheese before the vegetables or the vegetables are stored in a cold container. However, they taste fine. I personally felt that the special Paolos sauce has anchovies in it which I wasn’t expecting

Being in a top location isn’t enough to keep a mediocre business afloat. Staff looked and acted like they wanted to be somewhere else. Some customer service training is required. The pizzas were good, not the best but good. The drink prices were a tad inflated. There was a young diner there who presumed no one there would understand some profanities in Italian. Kind of off putting.
