We went to Mod Thai Shoal Bay 2 years ago and thought that we will have the same nice food in Nelson Bay. It turned out way different as it says on the menu. Regardless of having different chefs on each resto, at least match the taste. It’s just disappointing as we were craving for the food that we had 2 years ago.

I think this Thai place is ideal for takeaway only but not own much for dine in. They prioritise takeaways over sit in patrons. Can’t say the customer service is outstanding, a couple of them.were helpful during the night but in the beginning we had to self serve ourselves. Aftee 40min wait the food wasn’t that brilliant. It’s OK for takeaway.

Visited tonight for the dinner. Sitting arrangement very good. Booked day before not to miss out in busy period. My favourite Vegetable Laksa in Red Curry made my day. Curry puff and vegetable spring rolls very delicious.Vegetable Red curry was yummy. Green curry was okay. Fried ice cream with caramel was like the ice on the cake. Can not wait to visit again.

We decided to take a short weekend holiday for my birthday and dined in here for dinner.. we were last to be served dinner, i could tell they are in a hurry to go home ! …the morning after I felt very sick started vomitting and had very bad gastro. Was exactly 8 hours after eating food here so I can’t put it down to anything else… , what ever they did they ruined my holiday . Don’t eat here !!
