We came here a couple of time for lunch. Not bad as you get your own booth if there’s any available. Love how you dine in privacy with touch screen menu to order. Average price as any other Japanese restaurant and food are decent for a local joint.

First impressions, I really loved the interior of the place! I like how it’s really easy to order via their touch screen system at your table. Everything is super affordable and I’m a big fan of their lunch sets so that I got to try a variety of things in a smaller form. The dishes are well presented and I really wanted to enjoy the dishes but unfortunately there was a lack of flavour in a lot of them – but it might be the dishes that I specifically got. The eel was definitely packed with flavour though because of its marinade. I also bit into a huge fish bone in the fisherman sushi roll 🙁

The chicken namban bento was very disappointing. Chicken katsu is super dry. The sauce is nothing close to being namban sauce. Found a piece if hard plastic in the food and the staff offered to replace it. However I won’t risk my teeth safety again going back to this place.

Recently visited Ishiyama and was surprised how good the food is. The dishes served in decent sized bowls, plates and boards but quite expensive compared to Manmaruya across the road. If you’re a hungry person like me bento plus half a eel donburi will set you back just under $50. The food is cooked deliciously and well presented especially the assorted sashimi sushi served on a long wooden board looks like something to share on the table but pricey to eat by yourself. The restaurant is tiny and narrow but can easily seat about 50 people. The restaurant ordering system uses touch screen technology which makes ordering a breeze.

Food here has gotten worse over the years. Pork katsu is so dry…. and they removed sushi from their Bento? Real drop in quality unfortunately. Wouldn’t come back or order online again

Very disappointing. Food tasted bland and had not much flavour, big mistake visiting here for lunch I should have went to different restaurant. Will never visit again. Also service was poor you have to get your own water from water dispenser or buy bottled water here. Most restaurants give you water in glass bottle or plastic bottle but here you need to get your own water from tap. I was seated too far so I just bought bottled water. I drink lot of water when eating. Also waitresses never greet you. It is like they don’t want to work there.
