Awesome place for a burger and cocktails! Delicious friend chicken burgers and tenders, you can choose the spice level/flavour. Wish the burgers came with fries as we were still hungry after a burger each, we ended up returning later in the night for some frozen cocktails and tenders! Cocktails were great, loved the presentation. The atmosphere was fun and energetic and the service was good! 🙂

I went to Howlin’ Jays with my wife and a couple of friends we met on our recent P&O cruise to Cairns from Perth. Absolutely loved the place! One of our friends got a burger with sweet potato chips and the rest of us got the share plate between the 3 of us and it was definitely more than enough food. My wife and friend ate the tenders and I handled the 9 chicken wings – JUST! I got 4 medium and 5 pluckin’ hot. The pluckin’ hot was awesome – if you like a bit of spice, definitely give them a go. The medium is probably enough spice for most, but both have heaps of flavour. The wings are huge too! The fried pickles were great too as were the chips. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I had a Masey Mule drink which is basically a Dark’n’Stormy made with alcoholic ginger beer and it was delicious too!

Visited Howlin’ Jay’s for dinner last night. You can sit anywhere and order up at the counter. We sat on the balcony to enjoy the beautiful view of the water. We were going to order the chicken and waffles but they didn’t have any waffles available. We ordered two chicken burgers (one mild, the other Southern) and fries instead. Food was served really quickly and was nice. Friendly service from the staff too. The place has a good atmosphere with music and it’s decor. Might return later in the week for the waffles!

Seriously guys!!! We arrived mid arvo for a bit of a late lunch. We were NOT disapointed!!! Seriously!! The ‘feed us’ platter fed 4 adults and 2 kids and had food left over.

The burgers were very juicy and so enjoyable to eat. Friendly atmosphere and great vibe, helpful and friendly staff. Great spot with sea view, what could be better for a lazy afternoon lunch after going around shopping at Rusty’s market. Chill out and enjoy. Thanks Hahoooooo ️ ️ ️ ☺️☺️

The wings are so good I just know I will be thinking about them when I go home. We had the medium and it was a perfect blend of flavour and heat. We also enjoyed the frozen cocktails. We visited on a Monday night and it was quiet so easy to get a seat but still a good atmosphere and really nice all lit up!
