Really nice place for a morning brunch, fantastic atmosphere with a lot of outdoor seating. Their coffee is great and the Chinese fried chilli omelette dish was incredibly flavourful, the potato rosti was nice too but will need to settle with second place. We also grabbed some banana and raisin bread to go and it was a bit too sweet even for my sweet tooth.

Room for a Pony is an amazing cafe in Hobart that I would highly recommend. The space is perfect for family gatherings or events, and the coffee and food are out of this world! But what really sets Room for a Pony apart is their exceptional customer service. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and appreciated. Overall, I would give Room for a Pony a five-star rating and I can’t wait to come back for more delicious coffee and food!

Coffee was alright, lacked a bit of mouthfeel and depth – but still overall okay. Food was decent but took quite a while for it to come out. Nice ambiance, and staff were generally friendly. Quite a large cafe with extensive seating with alfresco and indoor seating as well.

Sides for brekkie are about $7 a pop bit when your dish is served, they definitely compensate with the volume of food that they give you. The mushroom with a slight crumb were delish and the coffee was piping hot and smooth

We’ve been here a few times before for breakfast and it’s always been great, came for lunch today and it was still great! Pizzas are a good size, we had 2 to share and took some home, all around a good experience as usual.

I was served a raw chicken parma. The waitress apologised saying that they were overloaded with orders. This is honestly a poor excuse for something as basic and critical as food safety. I suffered food poisoning from this and it ruined the holiday.

Fun fact: This cafè was a former gas station so its location is very centric and accessible. It has accessibility for people with reduced mobility and it is kids friendly. Competent and resourceful staff. Good pricing and good food. We’ve ordered 3 coffees, 1 cookie and one veggie plate (rösty) and the check was $45.
