Zac’s Place is family run mixed business. We offer takeaway food & coffee, take away alcohol sales,cigarettes, icecreams, bait, tackle, ice and a small range of groceries.
The shop opens everyday at 7:45am. Closing times vary according to need. We are very much a seasonal business so if its warm, you will most likely see us still open later into the night.
We can be contacted on 0244483177 for phone orders and enquiries. We are happy to cook your dinner in our last orders and keep it warm while you collect. Our shop closes approximately 30 minutes after our kitchen closes.
Our restaurant is very popular when we are able to open – great food & service, booking ahead by phoning is a must as we are often booked out.

We had just finished a 2.5hr hike and saw people eating hot chips on the beach. We asked where they got them and then headed straight for Zac’s Place. The service was great. There was a selection of homemade sweet delights, perfect for a treat whilst we waited for our lunch. We had fish burgers and chips and were not at all disappointed! Fish ways fresh and flavorsome and chips had perfect crunch and just the right amount of chicken salt. 100% hit the spot after seeing some Magnificent scenery just down the Rd.

Fish and chips always seems like a good idea but it’s usually an inevitably soggy and greasy disappointment. This was hands down the best fish and chips of my adult life – crispy, juicy, and salty. Service was great as well, considering I ordered when they were about to close, had questions about the fish and am particular about levels of crunch. Exceptional!

I was thrilled to find this little fish and chip shop in Currarong. The food was delicious and cheap with large portions.The service was friendly and fast. I could not fault this place in any way and I will be coming back and telling all my friends and family to visit too. 100% worth a trip.

amazing! This spot quickly became our coffee shop local when we stayed at the caravan park. Bacon and egg roll was a treat as well. Sadly the restaurant is currently closed due to COVID.

Lovely fish and chips that can be enjoyed by the sea. Barbecued as well as fried offered which is great for those of us that really don’t like batter. Really generous serve, great value

Had the works burger was fantastic, best burger I’ve had in a while and the fish cocktails were also fantastic , chips were also very good , my daughter had the schnitzel burger and she was very happy with it,staff were very friendly and price was very good
