Service wasn’t the best. They told us to order via QR code. Food was as expected. No wow factor. We were having an excellent conversation as a waiter interrupted everyone and said “We are closing so please leave”. I found that very rude as there were three other tables like us, all looked at each other.

Can’t believe I lived in the neighbourhood for so long without going here, food is fantastic and great value for money. Love the decor as well. Was sad the sausage tasting platter was unavailable but would definitely come back and try other things. Fave was the larp tofu.

Lived close to this restaurant for years. Was good a couple of years ago and has gone down hill since then. Ordered a curry recently which had more oil in it than curry! The skin of oil was so thick it just separated and sat on top. It was disgusting

Yim Yam is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. I just love Lao food with its delicate and exotic flavors and Yim Yam is one of the few restaurants in Melbourne where you can find it. They also have Thai food. The service is good, the atmosphere is great and the prices are reasonable. I thoroughly recommend Yim Yam.
