The experience very much like eating at a joint in Japan. The service and food very good. Reasonable price wise.

the seating space is a bit small and you tend to squeeze through other people’s table but if you catch them at less than peak times, it’s no problem. The food came out very quickly and everything complimented and paired well together as most japanese cuisine tend to do, giving you a balanced meal. I do wish the portions were larger since the price is a bit high but I find myself wanting to come back every time the evenings get cold and i want to eat something comforting and in a fairly quiet atmosphere.

A good experience overall! We had the unagi mix toji teishoku, agedashi tofu and takoyaki. It was my first time trying the toji-style dish of scrambled egg mixed in with the meat and light sauce, but it was delicious! Service was nice and courteous from all staff. The things I think could be bit better is the takoyaki which didn’t include bonito flakes on top that is typical of the dish, and the side plates that came with the teishoku could’ve been topped up just a bit more. But I would consider coming back in the future.

I always walk past here but finally decided to give it a try yesterday. Delicious food but portions were quite small for the price. Still I’d happily come back to try other dishes if I feel like splurging a little on some Japanese food.

The food was good although on the pricier end. I got the mix toji and it was very filling and has the perfect portion with a decent amount of meat. Rice texture was good but a little too sticky for me. Service was okay but the single stalls are a bit cramped. They have limited capacity so the store’s not allowing full capacity meaning there will almost always be a bit of a wait time. Overall as a restaurant, the good was nice and I’d return again.

The ramen here is good. However, it’s not excellent or mind-blowing, only good. The grilled eel was quite tasty and nicely cooked. They do have nice booth and are quite spacious. The prices here are over the top, quite expensive for only average ramen.

Finally got around to trying this. I’m a big fan of Yayoi-ken in Japan so was hoping for something similar.

The food was quite nice, although for the price I felt like it was little lacking. The service was incredibly fast though, and the staff was wonderful.
