Have ordered from here multiple times over a couple of years. On only 2 occasions have we gone through the process of ordering and picking the food up without issue. Its either the order didnt go through properly, they forgot our food, we arrive and wait 40 minutes after the estimated pick up time. Tonight we ordered with specific instruction to have “NO chilli” and the food is full of chilli and very spicy.

Sunday afternoon lunch equals perfection in a plate. Simply delicious, well crafted and presented. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with soft piano jazzy music in the background. The Danish inspired furniture make the decor cozzy and relaxing. The service is customer oriented with great presence and beautiful smile. Highly recommended.

Food is actually fairly good but it’s completely let down by terrible service. Had takeaway here and it’s been good enough to come back. Dining in was another story, scruffy wait staff that only do anything when you wait forever to get their attention and then follow up multiple times. No one came to offer drinks or take order, food took forever, dishes were missing. One dish even gave to us then taken away again as ‘chef realised there’s something wrong with it’. Needless to say we cancelled that one and just paid up and left.

My Husband booked a table for two yesterday to celebrate valentines day. We got to the restaurant 5 minutes early and sat down on our table allocated for us. However, the service was appalling. My husband and i waited 30 minutes for a service but no one had come up and ask us for any drinks while waiting nor waters? Not only our table situated closed to front door and every time it open half of time they never closed fully and it was a cold wind confronting us which is i can let it go. I can understand if they wore super busy but the place is not full book. there is lots of tables empty and the staffing was passing back in fort with head down and not looking to ensure all costumer were taking care off. On top of no drinks offer, but also menus for to look.

This was our first time to eat at Yakoo but it won’t be our last. Six of us enjoyed a wonderful meal here. 4 of us had the $33 banquet , which was delicious and great value, we even had left overs to take home. Our total bill left us pleasantly surprised as it also included a bottle of wine and corkage for a BYO. The atmosphere, the service and the value for money was all very pleasing.
