After a long walk on a main street nothing beats the coffee here @Village Cafe! Great location right before Woolworths. I was mesmerized with the service! I just had a cappuccino and it was served few moments after sitting! It was served with a smile. It such a relief! This is Exactly what I’m after for. A local experience that you can only get here.

I had some spare time this morning so I have come to the Village Cafe. I used to come here years ago. Well for $22.50 you can get a 2 foot pile of bread (handy for feeding ducks) , a below average very bitter coffee and 1 micro piece of bacon. The eggs were ok. And surprise surprise I was the only one in the cafe. I wonder why?

I don’t understand why this restaurant can still be able to be running in this beautiful Airlie beach! Worst service ever! I paid $42 for a hot rock 200g grass feed eye filet. Taste like a $10 steak from the supper market! Please check the stone in the attached photo. I don’t know if it’s a Caesar stone which is definitely not suitable for cooking food as it’s supposed to be your bench top in the kitchen and made of materials with chemicals! Really good food. Lots of reviews about a slow service, but to me this doesn’t really matter when the food tastes great. You can tell the food is made fresh. We only had to wait around 20 mins for our food. Prices are reasonable too. Overall I defo recommend
