I attended an event at Videre and enjoyed a high tea which I found to be quite impressive considering the reasonable price. Unlimited tea was a great inclusion and three varieties of scones most generous. The pretty, delicate desserts were probably a little too sweet (and I’m a sweet tooth!) but the savouries were outstanding and definitely on the fancy side. Came for a hens’ high tea, so it was buffet-style with cute little teapot and cup sets. The scones were not as fresh as they could be, but everything else on the menu made up for this. Presentation was on point. Staff was courteous and helpful. This is a restaurant that takes pride in serving patrons quality eats.
