i enjoyed going to this cafe. they had very nice, friendly staff and the aesthetic of the was easy on my eyes (very big plus, thank you for this). there were a lot of lights, but they were mellow and didn’t blind you when you looked up at it. another positive was the large servings, for this reason i recommend going with friends and sharing a meal. the food there was high quality, and very scrumptious. i ordered a french toast and what i received totally exceeded my expectations. the bread was plump and soft, it had soaked up enough of the maple syrup so that it was wet and flavourful, but not soggy and bland. the strawberries on top were fresh and when i dipped them in the pool of maple syrup they were even more delicious. i would definitely recommend coming here.

Ordered 4 breakfasts. 1 Florentine eggs & 3 bacon, tomato & mushrooms. Waitress bought out Florentine & one bacon tomato mushroom which was absolutely huge. Another normal size was bought out. Then the waitress came and said oh the chef has put two meals on one plate, you’ll have to scrape half off the other plate!!!!!

We loved the food, the service and the atmosphere so much, we visited twice over two consecutive days. We were delighted to see that the cafe didn’t hold back on the generous serving sizes. I was impressed by the “perfect foam” on my coffee.

Amazing service, visting from Sydney and wish this was my local! Haven’t felt this welcomed in a cafe in a long time. The girls at the counter were unbelievably friendly, couldn’t help me enough and I won’t forget being addressed as ‘lovely’ any time soon, made my day! Food took a little while but it was busy and well worth the slight wait. Will return next time I come through for sure!

Disgraceful. Just purchased a flat white and a cappuccino, along with a raspberry & white chocolate muffin. The coffees were burnt and undrinkable. The muffin had no evidence of raspberries. The coffees went in the bin and the muffins are destined for my chooks. I live three hours away, and stopped here on our back from Sydney & thought we’d try this cafe. Luckily Racine’s was open, where we bought drinkable coffee and delicious pastries. Lift your game Venue people!

Was disappointed to hear that the lady sitting next to me today wrote a review on her salad missing ingredients, or wrong ingredients on said salad. She also complained that her coffee tasted like dishwater. I must say I am surprised that it was not to her satisfaction, as she had eaten everything, and only complained to the lovely waitress as she was collecting her plate. ( Why did you eat it then??)

Fluffy egg white omlette is terrible, crispy bacon is really good, service is like the omlette, food came cold and delivered by the chef. Got our order wrong and we waited far too long. Right idea with the serving size etc but there needs to be a new manager

Ordered at 2.20pm, food arrives at 3. Inedible chicken satay, chicken sticks were dry, cold and tasteless. Sauce tasted like it was tinned. Rare Roast beef sandwich was inch thick bread. Whilst beef was moist it too was almost an inch thick which made the sandwich impossible to eat (even the biggest mouth couldn’t eat that) Chicken Pasta was disgusting- sorry – was this a pesto out of a jar? Says it also had capsicum in the sauce. I got two slithers of semi dried something. Noticed the table next to me left 3/4 of two bolognaise meals and left as well. Service is poor, drops food on table and doesn’t attempt to take away empty coffee cups. Lazy as. The only redeeming thing about this place is the coffee is half decent. Oops – second cup just came and the coffee is burnt – so take that back – Head Office seriously needs to come and do a blind tasting – they’d be horrified.

One of few cafes that are open late enough on a Sunday for a hangover meal when fast food won’t quite cut it. 10/10 for opening hours and huge variety on menu. Execution not too well, food is ‘alright’ Burger was burnt and a lil bland, chips were nice i guess. Would return and give another chance though
