Pleasant cafe with good sitting spaces indoor and outdoor. Few on street parking infront and plent around the block. The menu looked good for brekfast and brunch options with reasonable price.

Busy cafe with good food. Lots of options and the staff were helpful and courteous to for weary cyclists. Tables were clean and the food was well presented. There is a back garden with additional seating too.

Delicious food yummo! Eggs were perfect and everything delish. Lovely little cafe and nice atmosphere but the serving size was very underwhelming. I ordered the big breakfast and got 2 eggs, 1 bit of sourdough, 2 small bits of halomi, a morcel of greens, half of a small tomato and a small bowl of beans. It was all delicious and perfectly cooked, but it was small, and $25. Even a second bit of toast would have been great.

After many recommendations, I was finally in Sorell long enough to try out the Velvet Cafe. I had the Eggs Benedict Florentine and it was cooked to perfection. I wish I had ordered a coffee because the ones coming out looked and smelt lovely. Atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Fantastic little cafe, will be back!
