The staff at the v wall cafe were great! Lovely service and good decor. Average food, ordered the beef burger which was delicious however the chips were flavourless (need new oil maybe) felt like I had to drown them in sauce to taste something. Also had the meat lovers pizza which was way too oily, tasted like a ham and cheese toasty but couldn’t eat it, had too much greasy cheese. Iced chocolate was yum though!

Dropped in today and grabbed the chicken schnitzel burger – and have to say; it was about the best schnitty burger I’ve ever had. The tavern itself; the food has been fantastic of late, and the cafe certainly didn’t disappoint today either. Will certainly be back for more.

Staff were so accommodating, one in particular behind the bar, don’t know her name. Was great with our dogs, giving them water and pats. Loved the chilli margarita (me, not the dogs). Great spot near the water especially at sunset.

Superbly fresh flathead, battered just before cooking. Very nice prawn cutlets as well. Chips were crispy outside and luscious starchy inside, just like we ordered. A definite 5 star rating on quality of food.

Cafe has been spruced up since we were last there. Great Fish and chips and hamburger, stunning view. Takeaways very popular for picnicers enjoying the facilities at the picnic area overlooking the stunning estuary which is the confluence of Warrell Creek and the Nambucca River. Coffee not so good.
