Meals were expensive for a Chinese restaurant, however the food was delicious. Excellent service and ambiance. Disappointed the fortunate cookies were 50c each and not free once the bill was paid. The honey chilli chicken was a stand out for me.

I have been a loyal customer for 30 years to this restaurant. Last night I ordered sizzling garlic prawns. Chicken wings for entree. The wings were tasteless no fivespice at all.just plain fried chicken wings. They use to be so delicious. Then the sizzling prawn plate came, On a bed of…. Cabbage! With a small amount of prawns. For $33 it was sad. When I told the owner he said if you don’t want cabbage you must tell the waitress. Since when does anyone serve sizzle plates with cabbage and not onion. The salt and pepper squid was small for a main, tiny bits of squid and huge batter jackets. Sad, but we now have to search for a new restaurant. Prices are huge now, food quality poor. $10 for a bourbon coke… Sorry, you have lost a great restaurant

Very old school restaurant. Food was OK, some dishes better than others. Service was top notch, very friendly. Biggest gripe was the pricing, just unrealistic for what the place is, an average Chinese restaurant. Decor was dated and there are vinyl tablecloths and TVs on the wall (conversation killers). You expect better for the price you pay here. Has a liquor licence so perhaps that’s how they justify it.
