Great place to have dinner as the menu is fairly large and accommodates for different diets. The prices are also good for the portions you receive as well. The staff was very nice to accommodate for our group as we initially were 3 people but increased to 5 at the last minute. Really appreciated that and the service we received.

Great Japanese restaurant. We’ve been here along with our friend who is a Japanese cuisine lover, and we had an awesome night. We had raw steak & vegetables which had to be cooked using a hot stone and it was more than fun to make our food ourselves in the way we preferred. The staff was super friendly with great customer service who tried to be as nice as possible.

Japanese Ramen cuisines and snackbar, taste is very good, just like eating in Japan, the price is not expensive, there are many menus to choose from such as ramen, donburi, or bento set with various choices of beverages.

Toyama is a delightful Japanese restaurant that I highly recommend. The food is simply amazing – fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The sushi is some of the best I’ve ever had, and the grilled dishes are equally delectable. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a lovely decor that adds to the overall experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure that every visit is a memorable one. If you’re looking for an exceptional Japanese dining experience, look no further than Toyama.

Came here on a whim just walking down Rundle St, and was pleasantly surprised. As someone who is not Japanese, I can’t speak on the authenticity, but the food does taste absolutely amazing. Every dish is generously sized and very well seasoned. The ramen was large and rich and hearty, and the sushi was some of the freshest I have ever tasted. Not pictured is the okonomiyaki that was just as nice. Will definitely come again!

Don’t read this review if you get mad over opinions. So this is very VERY opiniated. As a picky eater, I didn’t like ANY of the food. The best part was the bottled ramune. The flavours weren’t for me, and it wasn’t very well presented based on the prices. The atmosphere was dull and not how a Japanese restaurant should normally be, but it depends on where you sit. I didn’t enjoy my time there, but thanks anyways.

Wow! Mmmm yummy Japanese food here at Toyama. We ordered the Kingfish Carpaccio( 16.80) Waygu ramen ($18.80) and Stonegrill beef ($39). The kingfish almost melted in my mouth. This is a fun experience if you want to take your partner and cook on a stonegrill to how you like it. Ramen broth was also very tasty. It’s hard to find a place in Adelaide that can master the ramen broth. The wine list was extensive which I love. Kudos to you guys

If you want to enjoy the taste of Japanese food and have a different experience, this excellent Japanese restaurant with top-quality food, beautiful atmosphere, and good staff is one of the best choices. The hot stone dishes are among my favorites, and of course, the taste of other dishes is also amazing.

My aussie friend brought me here. Good food! I am so happy to get oysters here. I am Japanese so I might be picky, the soup of udon was not tasty a bit (but I still loved that!), that’s why I gave 4stars.
