Worst fish and chips, . The flake was rubber and could not even break it , the batter dark brown and oily, potato cakes the same. $36.00 for a load of rubbish. This is the truth, my hubby gave a piece of the flake to our dog and she vomited it up about ten minutes later . Never had such disgusting take away in our lives. Sorry do not like giving these reviews but hoping this saves some people money.

Possibly the worst fish and chip shop on the surf coast. Flake was brown and soggy indicating old oil in the fryers. Only got 2 seafood sticks but ordered 3. Spent $95 on the worst fish and chips I’ve had anywhere in Australia. How can you have terrible fish and chips at a seaside location? This place won’t be getting any business from us again. Bell Street Fish and Chip shop far superior, unfortunately it was closed.

I really try not to leave reviews on places especially negative ones but I’ve never been to such a disgusting fish and chip shop in my life! Not only do they cross contaminate the chicken and fish but the whole store is filthy from roof to floor. I’d be so embarrassed to be running this place. The food is literally unsafe to eat. Health authorities need to investigate this place. Do better!

Well, I do miss the good old working Fish and Chip shop owners. Ordered two flakes and two potato cakes. Was very surprised with how expensive it was. Then, I was very disappointed when I opened the package of fish there was no lemon wedges . I guess you have to pay extra for lemon… The fish was ok cooked in fresh oil, but the batter wasn’t fluffy and crunchy. The potato cakes are not right. They seemed to be reformed potato in perfect circles and not the real batter.

Ordered a few items off the menu, burger was completely flavourless, stale bread. Chips had no taste and the potato cakes were frozen. We ordered chips and gravy and then another serve of chips. He put both chips into one serve and then a seperate gravy container to pour over both serves?? The gravy was also runny and watery with no flavour. The physical shop is filthy, needs a deep clean. Service was non existent, barely a grunt. Stay away. Threw out our food and ate elsewhere
