The Tokyo Den is a hard working quality assured restaurant. The staff are eager to serve you with a simple prolonged eye contact. We arrived at 5.30 after travelling two hours from home just for this restaurant and vivid. I was blown away by the complexity and texture of the food. It has set the standard for me on what I should expect when consuming genuine Japanese cuisine. The venue is excellent with kenshi girl decor and a taste of new world meets old world. I felt almost guilty for how much I enjoyed it.

Lots of different dlicious sushi & hot foods, & deserts are also yummy. Sashimi is definitely a highlight. 2 hours are good enough for trying everything you want to try.Very nice and clean environment, staffs are friendly and quickly serve you. Will come back again.

I like Japanese food and buffets, but unfortunately Tokyo den did not meet my expectations. If your are planning to visit, park at Westfield’s and walk over only takes less than 3mins.

We made a booking for lunch and arriving at 12:15pm seats were already filling up downstairs and upstairs. The sushi selection was not extensive, not usually the type of sushi we ordinarily have, but for what it was it was good. There were a couple with cold slightly firmer rice but the rest was good. We ordered some sashimi which were fresh – though the cuts were a bit thicker than what I prefer. The cheese salmon nigiri (not pictured) and california roll (not pictured) were fresh made as the rice was still slightly warm. The vegetable spring rolls (not pictured) were hot and fresh but too much wrap and not enough filling. The gyoza was juicy on the inside with a crispy exterior – we ordered this twice. The miso was hot but watered down and had an unpleasant taste. The beef cuts were a hit or miss – some pieces were tender while others were chewy (we also tried the wasabi beef – not a fan of wasabi but the mix of mayo made it really subtle and adds just enough kick to the dish). Overall a good first experience, service was efficient and food came out within 5-10 minutes of ordering.

Really great all you can eat Japanese. I think I still prefer Okami more, as their sushi and nigiri is better. But this place has better wagyu beef. The ice cream was a little bit of a let down. Very icy and not as creamy! But I heard it was made in house so pretty good for what it is. Will go again!

All you can eat Japanese food SIGN ME UP but also don’t because I overate so much I felt like a bowling ball trying to walk home but anyways everything is delicious but get your moneys worth by getting the sashimi but also conspiracy theory they bring out the sashimi super late to stop you from ordering fifty billion plates

Considering the price paid, I think it was pretty good value and that the quality is reasonable. It’s no fine dining or top quality Japanese dining experience but you get what you pay for. If you’re looking to get stuffed, have a good time and eat some sushi, rice, meats and more, you’ll find that here. Order away on your mobile phone by scanning a QR code , as some of the food may not arrive at your table.

Food was pretty decent for an all-you-can-eat restaurant, and ratings are relative to other AYCE places.

Great selection of Japanese food, however the food quality is not the best, you definitely pay for what you get $40 is what you paying for, seafood sashimi was thick and not fresh, or maybe fresh but been in the fridge since the morning. Not bad, it’s ok
