Fast and friendly service. It wasn’t very busy so the food came out very quickly. Very quaint inside but I sat outside to enjoy the fresh air and sunset from the terrace. There’s also a small adjoining beer garden which would be great for summer dinners or a few drinks.

We all enjoyed our night here. The staff were friendly and the food was good with generous servings. It has a really good warm and cosy atmosphere

Edit: Fabulous service recovery! I pretty much had put this behind me, but the hotel ensured to reach out while I’m still at the property.

Lovely pub with an old school charm. The exterior architecture is a stand out. Parking in the street pr limited spots next to the venue on their car park.

Good flavour but the smallest serve of rice I’ve ever seen, particularly considering the dish was $28…

My friends and I went here on a Saturday night and we had to wait over two hours! For hour entree and a further half an hour for our mains! However, the wait staff were accommodating and apologetic about the wait.

We ordered 3 dishes. Only 1 was actually tasty, the satay chicken tenders. The stuffed capsicum was tasteless. A main serve of crumbed scallops was so tiny, for $34, and over cooked. Not good when hubby is famished and really looking forward to them. Very disappointed, as have had reasonably good food here previously. Glass of house wine was also incredibly expensive…didn’t go back for a second. Only redeeming feature was the dog-friendly beer garden. Like I said, just very disappointed.

Great restaurant. Heaps of old world charm and atmosphere. Food was delicious and moderate prices. I highly recommend it.

Where to start… loved the history on the walls about the building and people, the historical feel of the venue was fantastic The staff were awesome from the get go. Seated us at a bar table as the restaurant was full. Didn’t stop us from enjoying our amazing meals. Steak was cooked as requested( which it’s hard to get a medium these days) soft and melt in your mouth. My meal was just what I needed and how I like it. Potatoes were crunchy on the bottom and soft tops, carrots fresh and just a light crunch. The hotpot was just right. The balance of the rich red wine gravy and venison was spot on which made the venison soft and tender, the pastry was just enough to mop up the left over gravy.
