Had a terrible experience here, the food was so salty we had to send it back. We don’t normally send back food. When we gave feedback that the food is over-seasoned, the staff said “No we don’t put salt in that”, we again told her it’s way too salty, she went “WHICH PART?”.

We popped in here for breakfast on a Friday morning. It was busy but we still found a table easily and got served quickly. The prices are very reasonable and our food and coffee were delicious. It’s an easy walk to the cafe from the main street of shops.

Drove to Cowes for a work related delivery. Took Google reviews for their word. Was pleasantly surprised that the food not only met expectations but exceeded them. The coffee was on point too.

The service at this establishment was incredibly appalling and off-putting. We had ordered a hot chocolate with oat milk, but realised we had been served a hot chocolate with full cream milk instead. This was a simple mistake and we simply let one of the staff know what had happened in hopes to get the situation rectified, but the server immediately took on a defensive and argumentative tone. In a loud voice, she went, “Are you SURE?”, before going to talk to the barista to check what had happened. She returned seconds later to insist that “The barista said the drink is oat milk,” in the same rude tone. Our entire table was shocked speechless at how brashly she was speaking to us. We had only taken two or three sips of the drink and agreed that it was indeed full cream milk, but the lady was treating us so poorly—assuming we were lying and sending the drink back so we could get an extra drink for free, or that we were stupid and didn’t know what oat milk tasted like. We felt so helpless in that moment because it’s not like we could make the staff drink it to prove that it was full cream milk, and we somehow became the villains in this situation.

Fantastic breakfast – eggs benny was sensational. Wife had the Egyptian Eggs and loved every bite. Even our two year old demolished the entire waffle!

Incomplete food. Please learn from other cafes how they serve their customers. Smashed avo is without eggs. Charging 18$ for single sourdough and avo. Egyptian eggs single sourdough and eggs. Charging almost 20$ . Toastie was full of salt. Iced mocha was just small glass filled with ice.

Perhaps one of the best brunch spots I’ve been to. I got the steak sandwich and my partner got the potato rosti with salmon.

We were seated promptly. The service was fantastic. Excellent variety on the menu with lots of non-egg breakfast options. Drinks and meals came out really fast and the food was absolutely delicious.

Ordered the mushroom bruschetta and eggs benedict. Considering the eggs benedict was $20, we did not expect a Maccas McMuffin to come out. Rather, it felt like the McMuffin was heftier than the one they served us. It was tiny and bland, definitely not worth the money.
