Gorgeous courtyard and was night sitting under the light decked trees and heaters. Ordered the bone marrow, pork and potato scallops, bread, beetroot and labne and marinated olives. Everything tasted very salty and service was inattentive , we were waiting for at least 15 min before someone would come and seat us .

The staff were friendly and very accomodating. I had the vegan options which was delicious! Left the place truly happy and satisfied. I recommend the 3 course meal, as the highlights were the entree and dessert. The nut-based tartare(?) was very rich and savoury, combined with the pickled vegetables, they were beautiful to look at and delicious to be savoured.

Was a little bit disappointed . Food was okay but poor service. From arrival it was 25 minutes before anyone even asked us if we’d like a drink and we had to flag someone down to take the order. Then it was a whole hour before any food was served.

As we were new to this restaurant we chose the “let us choose” menu which gave us a broad sample of what their menu has to offer. Wow, all the dishes were a taste experience starting subtle flavours, growing through more intense flavours and ending with a well chosen and rounded dessert. Staff were very friendly and helpful and offered good advice on wine and great answers to questions on the dishes. They were always very attentive. Highly reccommended.

The restaurant is housed in a beautiful heritage building of a bank and they did justice to its features. Love the feel and look of the main dining room. We opted for 2 courses and one dessert. Love the fact that they served us locally baked bread and miso butter as a complimentary appetizer. Both of my dishes, octopus and sirloin were beautifully cooked and presented. We share the vanilla slice, it was sublime, not too sweet with delicate thin pastry and soft tasty feeling. We couldn’t fault it. Love it, will definitely be back

We really enjoyed a 3 course dinner with paired wine – the dishes were well cooked and packed with flavour, as well as beautifully presented. Staff were friendly and attentive. Recommended a visit while in Orange. It gets full so definitely book in advance!

The food was very average. The fried fish batter was overcooked the first time. They gave us a second one and the batter was fine but the fish was undercooked. There was nothing special about the mains or sides. The dessert was disappointing. We were served stale vanilla slice – the pastry was hard (did not taste fresh and flaky like how it should). We would not go back again, at least not for dinner.

What a stunning outdoor spot for a relaxing lunch with a glass or two of local wine. The dishes are designed to share and we ordered the beef sirloin which was cooked to perfection and the roast pumpkin with hommus and dukkah. We also had a plate of crunchy chips. To finish, we shared a house made vanilla slice. Totally divine! The whole meal was absolutely perfect and the very professional and polite staff made for a truly memorable day. We will certainly be going back the next time we are in Orange.
