We had ordered ‘I want beans’ and ‘wayward Hayward’ (French toast) as shown in the photos. I am not a fan of buttered toast and was disappointed when my toast came buttered. I think it may be a good option to ask customers if they would like buttered toast.

Yep, it was a great little find. I had the almond orange cake and my husband had the breakfast potatoes. The cake was moist with a huge flavour. The potatoes were “a proper breakfast” according to my 6′ 8″ husband. I had one little taste and was rewarded with buttery, herbally, savoury comfort.

Looks cozy, but so busy and so much people. We had to waited to find a staff to takeaway the dirty plates on the table, no one wipe our table n give us water. Too busy there, we did it ourselves.

Went here for breakfast and couldn’t fault it. Potato with chorizo dish was excellent, and coffee was spot on. Friendly courteous staff. Seated outside is a bit of a pedestrian thoroughfare however that was my choice.

Really enjoyed eating at this hidden gem. Food was good although the Turkish bread toast was very hard. Staff were pleasant. Good menu options and flexibility if you wanted to change anything.

Enjoyed a morning tea of delicious fresh scones. Tables or a lounge setting. Relaxing decor with lots of plants by the window.

Food was bland, lacked flavour, bread was cheap toast turned to a soggy mess. For $26 with no add ons, one would expect a level of flavour and either sourdough or Turkish bread as a standard. The coffee was adequate but was served at an extremely slow pace. Sitting for an hour for breakfast and coffee does not cut it. One of crew members was totally forgotten and had to remind them of his coffee. Again not good enough.
