Bowden is a place of stiff competition, but this place takes good steps to stand out – a quirky menu paired with great coffee makes for a great time with friends

Had brunch at Loose Caboose with a group of my best friends and could not fault it. Food was exceptional, service was excellent. Staff are so warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is homely. They have the space and don’t pack it with tables so the dining experience is relaxed.

Wonderful experience here. All the staff were very nice and accomodating. Special shout-out to the man with the chin length brown hair who helped seat me near a powerpoint so I could do some work, he was so friendly!

The building is quiet unique, look very distinguishable from the outside. The inside room is smaller than I think, but has its own flavour . The size of coffee and hot chocolate is a bit small, but taste nice and well presented. Most of the dishes on the menu can be made vegan or are vegan. It is thoughtful. But as a meat eater, I feel there is not much choice left for me for some reasons. Both of the dishes we ordered taste nice. The staff are welcoming and helpful. I am just not very happy about the other customers (not like it has anything to do with the owners, I feel ur situation) but the table behind us are making loud noise: constantly stand up and walk around to greet each other, constantly have new member join in ( there comes another greet and hugging), chairs are pushed and floor are shaking. I am just not that enjoyed as I was looking for a quiet brunch with my friend. And it is just to cold for us to sit outdoor. Overall, good.

My partner and I shared the Eggplant Kasoundi and the Barossa Chorizo. It was by far the best meals we’ve ever had. Very reasonable prices for very sizeable portions. Didn’t need a steak knife to cut through the sourdough either. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

Great quirky setting in the old railway station. Very friendly responsive staff. Had the Bodega Style Chop Cheeseburger – absolutely delicious but now need to go for a run. Accompanied by a Ginger Nija drink – very tasty.

Food was amazing , had the pork Benny and honestly can’t wait to go back and get it again. Service was great, waitress took our coffee order straight away which I loved and very little wait time considering how busy it was. We also sat outside and they put the heather on for us and had blankets. Very accommodating , will definitely return. Thanks so much ☺️

Really love the place. I keep going back. The only thing that I disliked was having only one poachie on my toast. That was a bit disappointing. Service can be really slow during peak hours.

Covid times: only doing outdoor dining and takeaway food – we can still eat out safely . Brunch at @theloosecaboose – always a dependable place for good a good brunch! Good outdoors seating . We went on a public holiday, and the staff tried their best to provide service. It was a bit slow, but understandable during these covid times .
