The Mayfield cafe is a nice and cozy place (and perhaps the only place in the area) for food. It features a fireplace during the cold hours and days and is aesthetic like the gardens it’s on. The price of the food is moderately expensive, but not unexpected in Regional NSW, their portion size is great however and everything on their menus are hearty and tasty. Their service is excellent and the people are also nice. They are very busy most days though so if you have not made a reservation you might not find a seat during busy lunch hours, however you can still order food from the side and find plenty of other areas in the cafe to sit.

A very relaxing beautiful place to visit. A lovely outdoor fire pit to sit around with comfortable chairs/cusions. The surrounding gardens are HUGE. Give yourself at least 3 to 4 hours to enjoy walking through the manicured gardens and water fearures. Also Pet friendly and the food is amazing.

Came on a winter Sunday morning a detour from our Jenolan Caves. It’s a bit out of the way and best to come in autumn. The food is great though. Love my black rice choice.

We had a lovely lunch here. The lady that managed the reception in the morning was there to greet us at lunch. She had fantastic customer service and made it a pleasant dining experience. The gentleman that brought the food out was friendly and had a great sense of humour. The beverages and food was great. The lunch special was delicious, so was the BLT. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing.

Wow, absolutely amazing, so peaceful and relaxing food was fantastic, nice, friendly staff and a great atmosphere .First time going there, but I highly recommend anyone to pop in and try .Next time I go, I will definitely have a walk thru the property and gardens and explore.
