We had a family get together dinner at the Island Restaurant at the Golf Club last Friday night and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the great views over the river as the sun set. The chef did an amazing job of getting 11 delicious meals out to us – all in one go! The kingfish special and the fresh (not frozen) gold band snapper fish & chips were a standout. Stone steak grill a winner too! Friendly staff, good range of options on the menu to suit pretty much every taste (some vego ones too) & lovely outdoor deck. Thankyou!

Barely give this place one star, set in an amazing location this restaurant is a complete waste of space. Plenty of free tables but unless you have a reservation they can’t take orders. Seems the RSL is the only place in town with good competent staff and fit to stay in business
