It’s been years since I have been back. Enjoyed a lovely fun night with my partner. Live music, great songs and the singers voice was amazing. I did not get her name, but she performed Adele so well. The atmosphere has not changed, still very local, simple, and homey. Great service, very attentive. The food, Honestly if my man liked the rare steak (or maybe it was ribeye, I don’t eat steak so not sure, check the photos) then it’s a great place to add to our list of places to visit next time for date night. Totally recommend, and need to go back to try more yummy eats of the menu. Delicious.

Beautiful English pub setting, roomy, delicious filling meals, lovely country pub setting and fireplace for the Winter months. Also function hire. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back! We had the Guiness Pie and Lamb shanks, meat melts off the bone, vegies and mash potato…..mouth watering and a hearty meal.

Went for dads bday with a group of 6. Friendly family environment. Clear regulars who are comfy there. Steak was delicious and well cooked.

The Morton Bay bug was $12.00 for 2 small pieces. The waiter explained it was as large as my hand. I got ripped off, I feel. Steak Porterhouse wasn’t bad. Over cooked for medium. Plates were full of chips. Wine list was good. Not over priced. Liked the Schild Merlot. Nice drop. Over 5/10

I had the Guinness pie, which was nice. Mash potatoes were lumpy and vegetables were dry. The hosts had little personality with their presence rarely felt. Some attendants behind the bar were the opposite of warm. Somehow I was under the impression that they would be. We were told of a fireplace, although it could not be seen where we were placed. To add insult to injury, the remnants of the cake I supplied for Mums birthday disappeared. The staff could not tell me what happened to it.

I love the food here. The lamb shanks were delicious . Great tasting all at a good price. The service is great and I love the guitar player on Saturday nights.
