I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! Recently, I accidentally lost my bag, which contained my passport. Fortunately, the manager, Tony, went above and beyond during his off-hours to assist me, and thanks to him, I was able to retrieve my belongings. I’m extremely grateful for his help!

Straight gastropub menu (tacos, pizza, pasta) but good food, portions are generous, dishes was delivered amazingly fast. Open until 8pm so the only place for miles serving late dinner. Oh and ladies netball on the telly!

Came for an early dinner before it got too busy. Staff were gorgeous & the burger + fries super tasty. Great feel & vibe with the timber & black brick against light plastered walls studded with colourful local artworks. It feels light & bright enough for a hot summer day/night but also cosy (especially with the fireplace) in the cooler weather. The entrance has been set up with wire trellising that will look brilliant once the young plants have grown all over it. There’s also a playground for the kids & a pool table. Definitely worth it!

Visited Margaret River region and caught up with a few clients in the area. Food was great. Portions are huge. Ordered a hamburger and chips. More than enough food for one person. All the meals I saw that was served looked good and all plates was returned empty to the kitchen.

This was our last night in the south west region and our best dining experience during our two weeks in the area. Kai and the common team were friendly and very hospitable. The food was amazing, best Mexican tacos and I’ve had Mexican food in southern California and Texas. Texas toast was unbelievable also the chicken tenders. Oh and the loaded churros for the sweet tooth’s is a must.

Stopped in for afternoon drink and dinner, staff were friendly, food came out quick, overall really lovely service. I got the fish tacos, which were delicious and fresh although the fish wasn’t overly fleshy, more batter than fish really so would love to see more fleshy pieces used. Also got the Watermelon margarita which I loved!!! My partner really enjoyed his burger too so overall really enjoyed ourselves!

Was staying in Saudade so just a stones throw from The Common Bistro. Since our accomodation and stunning views of the ocean decided to do takeaway from here and eat it at home while enjoying the views.

The Common is a great addition to the Gnarabup community, serving local and tourists alike. The restaurant is spacious and has an upbeat feel. The food was good and came out quickly. We had the fish tacos and the pork tacos and although we would enjoy more spice, they were both very good. Best of all at The Common were the staff!- friendly, attentive & engaging. They all have smiles on their faces and periodically checked in with customers. It made all the difference in our feeling of dining at the Common.

The Common is such a great place! Love that everyday has a happy hour from 5pm-6pm where kids meals are half price and bar snacks are delicious! Playground is great for the young kids and it’s now got the option of ordering directly from your table! Staff are so friendly and I highly recommend you take the time to go and visit!
