We arrived as soon as they opened. No acknowledgment from staff, had to find our own menus, we went to order and the manager turned and walked away not wanting to serve us until she realised the other staff member was busy making coffee. None of the staff looked happy to be at work and they only just opened. Our meals came out and they were lukewarm and we had to find our own cutlery. The only good thing was the coffee was nice. Smile and be happy you have a job!

Was excited to eat here since previously my experience was pleasant. However, I was ordering the fruit toast (listed at 6.50)and I was asked if I wanted 1 or 2 slices. To which I replied, does it cost more for 2?Because in my head I’m really hoping 2 slices isn’t more than 6.50. Instead of a polite response I was scoffed at and the person serving me said yes while shaking her head like the question was extremely stupid. The thing is that it was 6.50 for 2 slices and 3.25 for one(3.25 wasn’t listed on the menu).. so I don’t understand why she made me feel so stupid when it wasn’t more expensive than the price listed. Just bad customer service that was annoying. Not hard to be kind to people, especially just from a simple question. The food is very good though, the burgers in particular. (A bit pricy though )Also frappes are mid.

Usually they’re pretty good but this time was a bit sad. I ordered and paid for two large drinks, a milkshake and a coffee I was given small. Some people would stress or get angry over that but I didn’t really mind. Not until I ordered a classic cheeseburger to go and didn’t realise until I got home that I was actually given a brekkie burger. Not exactly the burger I was craving but I ate it anyways. The only thing that I ordered and they just barely got right was the pancakes. They almost forgot the ice cream. Just sad.

Having previously been to The Coffee Club albeit not recently, I was very shocked to see the decrease in size of the meals. The price has remained the same, but the size of each of all of our meals and there were 9 of us, appeared to be at least a third smaller than previously. I was disappointed to see the reduced size of my meal but still pay the same amount. The presentation of our meals also left a lot to be desired.
