So disappointed by our recent visit.. we ordered our breakfast with a lovely staff member, same lady brought out the coffees, again, really great service.. our meals arrived, with the young server advising that the chef didn’t see our instructions on what we wanted until it was too late – (sauce on the side with the eggs Benny) the meal was absolutely covered in sauce which I don’t like as you don’t taste the food, only sauce.. instead of remaking it, she sent it out this way.. we scraped as much off as possible, but it didn’t help.. the worst part was that the young server and chef were watching and laughing at us scraping off the sauce. The lovely lady who cleared our plates asked what we thought – we don’t normally say anything, but I mentioned about how the meal arrived, she too said it should have been remade. I don’t send food back, as the old saying is, if you send it back, you don’t know what the chef has done to the new meal.. we usually go here every Saturday- we have now decided to try Cafe 63 from now on..

Ordered a big breakfast (which is not cheap) it arrived cold, mushrooms were raw. Did not have avocado, when I questioned the waitstaff as to my disappointment of the meal and stated that I was not happy. I was not offered an alternative nor the avocado. Not happy

Ok so I have been to this CC before and was really busy, service and quality wasn’t too good but I put it down to them been very busy. So today my wife and gave them another go and no improvements. Cafe was not as busy as last time. We ordered two hot chocolates, fruit toast and bruschetta. The drinks came out ahead of the food. The hot chocolate basically hot milk with chocolate powder which was not stirred in, basically had a huge chunks of chocolate powder. The Drink mostly tasted like powder very gritty. The toast came out (not much can be said about toast, toast is toast..) followed by my bruschetta. The bruschetta was unrecognisable compared to menu and had sent it back twice as it looked like something else off the menu twice it was brought back and told it was correct. I have attached two pictures one from the menu and the other that was served. As for taste I would compare it to what I would think eating thick slices of cardboard with pesto. The only part I enjoyed was the egg, so basically had an poached egg valued at $16.00. The staff here quite young and inexperienced and still have a lot to learn about customer service this would be a reflection on training by CC management.

I ordered the B.L.A.T eggs bene and they forgot to add half of the meal the avocado and tomato was missing! I called the store to tell them their mistake and was told by the answering staff member she couldn’t come up with a solution for me took my number and told me her manager was out and would call me back in 15 mins but never did! I paid a lot for my order too so was a big rip off! Horrible service would not recommend this store to anyone.

What a disappointing visit. They are very understaffed and the staff they do have wandered around taking their time with everything despite it being Saturday and busy. We were there for almost an hour and the table next to us was not cleared or cleaned the entire time, we were at the back and most tables people just had to clean themselves as they arrived. We waited for 40 minutes for eggs Benedict, which was ridiculous even for a busy morning, we watched as meal after meal sat waiting for between 10-15 minutes while the chef kept ringing the bell and food went cold before finally being taken to the customer. There was even a lovely pet with 8 legs – and considering the vacuum cleaner stands right next to it, can’t see how staff do not think to clean it? Also, please staff, smile a little. Both the waitress and the kitchen hand looked so gloomy and down in the dumps today, not welcoming at all – it brought the entire atmosphere down. Many better cafes around and I can honestly recommend this as a nice happy place to visit.

Horrible service, staff dressed inappropriately not in uniform wearing random jumpers and jackets, overpriced food , didn’t even get 2 pieces of toast in a big breakfast asked to pay extra and eggs Benedict now only comes on 1 piece of toast but still charging the same or more then before. Rude staff will never dine there again
