My recent experience at The Century by Golden Century was rather disappointing. The primary issue was the staff’s lack of proficiency in English, which made communication frustrating. Even something as simple as informing the lady who greeted us that we already had guests seated proved to be a challenge.

Chinese style seafood and Peking duck. I’m still drooling thinking about these dishes that I grew up eating. Though a bit pricey and service is not on a high standard, the nostalgia hits too hard for me to focus on anything else but the food. Though extremely flavourful be prepared to drink lots of water all night due to the magic ingredient most Asian restaurants use.

Be careful!!! When you order state specifically that you only want one serve of a dish. We got charged for 2x serves for EACH main meal which is extremely overpriced for Chinese food. Basically doubling the price. The food is Absolutely NOTHING special- just normal Chinese food. They can pretend it’s a translation thing but seriously I was over charged and then when I questioned it told I had ordered the double serves of everything. Therefore RIP off !!!!
