After a big day/night of drinking at the redhotsummertour & forgetting snacks for the Shak, this Big Breakie this morning saved our stomachs perfect eggs, toasted sourdough, spinach, tomatoes , hashbrowns, bacon & those brown plump mushrooms were very tasty!! A neighbourhood casual dining cafe near the lake. Value for money. The lasagna, steak sandwich & chicken avocado panini sandwich was good. However the fish & chips was a little off, fish was a bit too dry.

Went 2x first time went with sister hot chocolate perfect. Next time was awful ( Sat) my takeaway mug had boiling water and milk they forgot to add chocolate and marshmallows.

The food was ok. There are not many options without meat. I had a tofu burger and it tasted like … nothing… A good (vegetarian) chef would be able to make the tofu taste like something, but not here. The steak pie was ok but here as well: I would prefer more spices

I have tried so hard to like this place since I live within walking distance but it is always so disappointing…uncleared tables, untrained staff, ordinary food and barely drinkable Chai latte (I don’t drink coffee so can’t comment on coffee)…the decor is beyond drab and service is slow too. Such a shame because the location is great. I keep going in the hope it will improve!
