Wonderful place to have fish and chips and gluten free as well, they were delicious and have to be one of the best we have had for ages. Nice spot also to have a bite and sit near water, close to jetty.

What can I say? The service was amazing! The food also amazing! The fish and the batter was delicious. The chips and the special salt they put on them was one of the best salts I’ve ever tasted. The salads were extremely fresh and crisp. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem . Thanks for playing INXS whilst we were eating, also AMAZING

The gluten free options here are amazing. I had some gluten free battered fish and chips. The fish was to die for! Crunchy and better than ‘normal’ fish. Husband had the hamburger with the lot. Best burger he’s had! Such an amazing little place with the friendliest of service. Highly recommended for people with celiac disease. Very understanding. Well done and thanks for catering for us celiacs ☺️

OMG…this place is a MUST for any visitors to the Copper Coast. My husband had the crumbed Fisherman’s basket, served with salad, pasta salad and chips. The fish, calamari and prawns were fresh and the salad was alive, unlike other places where it is days old.

It was fine, we only really came because the best fish and chips place was closed. Fish was really good, we had gar and whiting, lovely. But chips were very ordinary. Expensive for what we got too. Nice if there’s nowt else, otherwise I wouldn’t go again.

Food is usually pretty good here, the chips are more often than not above average, crispy and tasty. Fish has been a bit hit and miss, sometimes no King George Whiting, although $9.50/PC feels pretty expensive. Generally staff quite helpful, sometimes odd hours even for a restaurant/takeaway. We ate in once and was a pleasant experience, we were the only ones so felt a little odd and quite, but did allow us to make as much noise as we liked and the sit in meal was well prepared and everyone enjoyed.

And lo, I discovered this delicious solution to that hour of “what to do, where to go, what to eat” while I waited for the Wallaroo Silo Light Show to start. This is the best seafood restaurant it’s fresher than an ocean breeze! And you can sit and watch the sun setting over the gulf while you eat and sip wine, don’t miss this… It’s a great hidden little tasty treasure trove. Thanks to the friendly staff, you make this a welcoming place to rest.

The Boat Shed Cafe at Wallaroo. I would without a doubt say that the Gluten Free battered fish, prawns and squid rings to be the best I have tested. Their GF snitzel is equally as good. All served with a garden fresh salad. The salad is fresh and the flavour is great.
