Super nice atmosphere by the water – great Sunday morning vibes. However not many food choices, and superrrr expensive for what you get. Also did not get a cute anchor pattern on our cappuccinos 🙁

Ordered fish and chips. Very disappointed with the preparation of fried fish. Too much oil dripping out of fish fillets. Chicken pie looks perfect. Atmosphere was great. Pricing very high end.

Amazing flat white & I really loved the French toast croissant. The design of everything looked amazing. We’ll definitely return! The QR code didn’t seem to work unfortunately.

If spectacular views and average food are your thing or you just simply want to go somewhere for photos and don’t care for what you’re eating… this is your place.

If you’re planning to visit this cafe do not come on a weekend. No queue for a table, so it’s basically like trying to find a park; if you’re lucky you’ll get one and if not you just have to keep circling and it’s a matter of being as aggressive as the seagulls on the beach outside. Food and drink orders are done via QR codes on table yet service was exceptionally slow. Took 30-40 minutes for drinks alone (one of which was a can of Sprite) and food only promptly came after flagging down a waitress to ask how much longer it would take.

The food is delicious, beautiful presentation and overall very tasty. Very fresh ingredients. Although on the weekends it’s nearly impossible finding a table, you really have to hunt and take the first one that is free, it’s a battle. The food takes around 30-35 minutes to come , but the staff is very friendly. I do not recommend the fish burger as it was dry, but the rest was really good.

Wonderful venue, great atmosphere, location and the staff were super friendly and made for a most enjoyable and special lunch. Lots of table options inside and out. Any over indulgences can be walked off on the beach. Prices are high, but to be expected in such a splendid location where the average house prices are probably over $10M. Hope to try their breakfast menu and a happy-hour cocktail on future visits.

Location is amazing let down by the service, food and prices. Disappointing to see tables cleared so slowly rubbish blows into the harbour or 20 seagulls have a feast. You have a responsibility to the environment!! Menu is now tired having been pretty much the same for many years. When I left there were 6 or so staff hovering near the serving bench. They should have been clearing the tables outside. Service much better at Shelley Beach venue
