Perfect place to dine in for a beach view. One of the yummiest corn fritters I ever had in Newcastle and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return.

Went there for lunch and coffee, the service was nice, but when the food arrived I wasn’t sure that the colour of my salt and pepper squid was from a spice or from dirty oil, then I look at the fries that confirm the colour was from dirty oil because I could see the black burnt specs all over the fries as well. Salt and pepper squid was cooked far too long in the deep fryer and was very rubbery. I ate just a 1/4 of the dish and couldn’t continue. It cost me $38 with no satisfaction check from staff. I will not be back!!!!

Disappointing experience overall—food and service-wise. Food was flavourless and mediocre (watery, unsalted and unseasoned eggs), the corn “fritters” were floppy pancakes with bits of corn niblets inside (also flavourless), and the banana bread was served with an ice cold chunk of butter on top which was un-spreadable. Their matcha was low quality, bitter, and weirdly filled with loose tea leaves floating around. Their white chocolate mocha was enjoyable, however! The servers seemed disorganized and were inattentive—many tables left dirty and weren’t reset. At one point I myself got up to bus another patron’s table as they had been served food without any cutlery (and had been unsuccessfully trying to flag down a waiter to get some for 5 mins). Extremely overpriced for a lacklustre and mediocre brunch. The location is beautiful and the restaurant itself is very cute but they really need to improve their food quality and service.

The food was delicious and the views are spectacular. However we were left fairly disappointed when we were not only forgotten to be served (to the point we considered just leaving), but it took over an hr to get our order. While I can understand business is prosperous, I can not condone the lack of communication.
