This restaurant fell short of our expectations. We ordered dal makhani and palak paneer, but unfortunately, the dal tasted more like a lentil salad, and the palak paneer didn’t follow the traditional recipe by frying the paneer before adding it to the gravy. The spring rolls were overly oily, indicating they may have been submerged in oil before reaching the optimal temperature. The roti had a papad-like texture, which was disappointing. Additionally, the staff lacked warmth and welcoming demeanor. Regrettably, this was our worst Indian restaurant experience in all of NSW. In the future, we would opt to visit Kohli Nowra instead, hoping for a more satisfying dining experience.
