Could not recommend this as a Thai restaurant. Maybe new mgt? If you’re after Chinese/Asian tastes, they’re OK, but nowhere close to Thai. Tom yum was watered down, Pad Thai was just stir-fried vermicelli. Service was ok. Few ppl, so fast and efficient.

From a Thai guy, this is not Thai food at all. Pad Thai is just a fried noodles. Beef massaman is a coconut curry with spices adding peanuts on top.

We were very pleased to find that after being closed for some time, this Restaurant has re-opened. Our meals were lovely. Best curry puffs we’ve ever eaten – main courses all scrumptious. Prices are extremely reasonable and staff cheerful and helpful. Though situated in North Hobart it’s not part of the main restaurant strip therefore plenty of easy parking. We do thoroughly recommend Thai Garden.

Looking at previous reviews we were a bit anxious about dining here. However, the food was delicious! Green curry was delicious and the veg all fresh. Was a little quiet and no music but the woman serving us was so sweet!!

You could tell this place has been on the decline for a while. Not enough staff, really bad food. They tried but it was just bad.

We had a group of 8 and had a brilliant night – the food was delicious; I had the veg spring rolls and the peanut satay stir fry veg + banana in coconut cream to finish. Do you self a favour and get a desert! YUM!. The service was also lovely! Very friendly and homely.
