An exceptional place for Japanese food. The portions could be a little bit larger but I didn’t go away hungry. Presentation and flavour were 5 star. Staff were brilliant and I had some time to speak with the owner because of my background. Reasonably priced compared to other restaurants I’ve been to.

I reckon it is an overpriced Japanese restaurant, the environment is very average which does not match with the price. Food presented nicely, but extremely small serve, and we waited 30 mins after the order to have our first tofu dish when it is not even that busy on a Sat night.

Absolutely Amazing! The staff were so friendly and attentive, The venue is clean, tastefully decorated with ambient surrounds but most importantly the food was magnificent! Beautifully presented, extremely tasty and larger portions than you’d expect for Japanese cuisine. Also a great selection of drinks and sake. We will definitely be back! Oishii desu!!

**Updated response: There was only 1 other person in the restaurant when we were dining there. Pictures available. Our kids were very occupied with cartoons and definitely not screaming as described by the owner. Looking at such response i have high doubt this restaurant can last long with such service and blatant lie upon receiving a negative review. Such attitude of response is not acceptable in a hospitality line of work. We visited this place on 7th May 2022 at 7.30pm

Food quality was fine, nothing sensational. however most dishes are around $20+ and are 4-6 literal bite sizes. I parted with $185 without drinks and food quality was on par with most sushi trains.

Surprisingly good Japanese restaurant – bit of a little gem. It’s definitely a good alternative to the crowded restaurants that you find in the cbd when you want a little bit more space and quiet. The food is tasty and quite authentic, the staff are friendly. The vibes of the restaurant aren’t fantastic but it’s not terrible, and there are quite a few tables so getting a place isn’t too big an issue. Loved the eggplant and the black cod – if you want a bit of a different experience with Japanese food then this is a place to give a shot!

First time I visited this place I was gutted they had no wagyu beef, the amazing lady told me that she wasn’t happy with the quality from the suppliers so didn’t accept it. Oh well, I decided to try a few other dishes instead.

We went for my birthday the other night, first time i have been out after having a baby and with 3 under 3 I was excited to say the least, we were on time and were sat down. Then ignored for a good 25 mins. A table came in after us and was served before us. We hadn’t even ordered a drink.. i had to eye down one of the staff members are we were starving and had plans booked after so we were on a bit of a time limit. My partner ordered the oysters and was so excited to have them but the table that came in after but ordered before ordered the last of them. I got the Wagyu Ishiyaki and it was filled with chewy gristle, definitely not wagyu even had a bone in it. The dumplings came out boiling hot I burnt my mouth so be wary and wait a good 10-15 mins before ingesting. The only dish I liked was the tataki, that was beautifully tender with great flavours. In all I was just unimpressed even if the staff were friendly it was not busy and waiting that long to even just order a drink was not acceptable for the price we paid ($221.78)
