Nice environment. Waitress very attentive. Out of stock of many of the drinks on the wine list. Food very good, especially Cumin Lamb and the Stir Fried Mushroom and Capsicum. Our starter of Dumplings tasted like frozen supermarket dumplings, not recommended.

Inedible. Not even joking, the Mapo Tofu (麻婆豆腐) was honestly the saltiest dish I have tasted in my life. It was as though they had dropped a full cup of salt into it. I asked for it to be made again with less salt, assuming the chef had made a mistake, but to my surprise the freshly made version was just as salty. The staff looked at me as though I was the problem, as though I simply didn’t like the dish. The other dish was also incredibly salty, and completely underwhelming. MSG laden, awful experience for such an expensive restaurant.

I’m asking myself why I am giving 5 stars, but I’m struggling for a reason not too.

The food here are authentic Szechuan dishes, strong flavour with tons of chillies and Szechuan pepper, some of them are quite oily. If you’re looking for experiences of Szechuan food, this is definitely a right place in Hobart!

Disgusting food and attitude. The food is rotten and smells smelly. We also recorded the argument and submitted to city council.

Good Szechuan style food. Large dishes that I did not expect. Suggest to go if you are not looking for luxury or seafood. It is very Chinese and spicy, good luck to the westerners. But when it is busy then need to wait longer, and quality could go south. Worth to give it a crack.
