One of the best Szechuan fried chicken in Hobart. The fried rice and pork belly were so good too. The sweet and sour pork, however, way way too sour. Definitely will return for the chicken again.

There is a wide range of Sichuan dishes in this almost hidden restaurant. The flavours are exquisite for those who love Sichuan spiciness. The non spicy dish we ordered, sweet and sour pork, is not recommended. The spicy ones – Kung bao chicken, beef brisket with smoked bamboo, eggplant cold dish, salted green beans with mince – are yummy. The pumpkin pie and ice jelly dessert balance our the spiciness for us. This is a great place for those who love spicy hot food, and love to feel the numbness in their mouth.

Food was nice! But the service was so rude! The skinny lady with mask was so rude! The restaurant only had 2 tables occupied the rest were free. Not even asked how many of us when we get in and after we sat down, the lady came and asked us to move to the other table with NO PLEASE at all. SIT THERE instead! No idea why the owner hired unprofessional front staff to ruin their own business. Definitely not coming back!

Inedible. Not even joking, the Mapo Tofu (麻婆豆腐) was honestly the saltiest dish I have tasted in my life. It was as though they had dropped a full cup of salt into it. I asked for it to be made again with less salt, assuming the chef had made a mistake, but to my surprise the freshly made version was just as salty. The staff looked at me as though I was the problem, as though I simply didn’t like the dish. The other dish was also incredibly salty, and completely underwhelming. MSG laden, awful experience for such an expensive restaurant.
