I usually purchase sushi and sashimi from Sushi Sushi in other areas around Melbourne. I happened to be in Camberwell today and stopped here. I don’t know why but the quality of all the food I bought was superior to other venues by miles so I really wanted to commend the chef and the owners for offering such fresh premium food when it seems that many others are cutting back on quality. We loved it and we will be back!

Too expensive for a small sushi roll. $4 each and the quality was bad. Poor rolling so it fell apart while eating and the seasoning was not tasty, nor was the texture. Very average and will not go back as unfortunately they don’t do sushi well at all.

Says open at 8am, walk in at 9:15am and was told that you’re not ready. Not a single sushi put out for sale. Please do not put up false advertisement of business hours. This is not the first time. It’s been multiple occasions of which I’ve visited past 9am when it clearly says on your door that you open at 8am. I keep coming back cause most of the ladies who serve in the afternoons are so lovely. But the guys in the morning who turn me away always leave me feeling like I’m intruding. I’ve worked in retail for a long time. I know how it feels like when people come in when you’re not ready. But i was there more than an hour after the advertised opening hour. Please do something about this. The service and quality of food used to be good.
