Good place to sit down and enjoy a quick bite of sushi, even if you’re on your own. Service was ordinary and a bit rushed, even though there were very few customers. Food was the same predictable perfection that we expect of Newcastle sushi bars. Prices are fair enough.

Great sushi, prices seem dearer but you get lots on a plate compared to other sushi trains. Wasn’t heaps on the train but you can order anything, although they said they ran out of veggie tempura which was a shame. Overall good experience and will come back if I’m in the area

Food is alright but the service is always grumpy and rushed, the sushi on the train is definitely not fresh enough and when you ask for fresh rolls, they try to pursuade you out of it. Also wayyyyy overpriced, $12.50 for 5 pieces of sashimi. Been coming for years but not coming back anymore. Opt for a fresh sushi restaurant instead!

Disguting manager. so horrible and rude to me. The manager there tried to take my phone. do not ever come here. I would give a 0 rating if i could please stear clear of these disguting people. Shame on them. under my sushi was a rotting plate. they gave me water that had swimmers in the bottom. please dont go there EVER.

Bad experience. Untrained staff. Long wait for service. Topping off all that could have been avoided with attentive staff and knowing what’s not available. Louie the fly made an appearance. Which made us leave ASAP
