We arrived at our booking on time and was promptly seated. Staff were attentive in terms of keeping our table clear of empty plates and ordered being brought out quickly after ordering.

Definitely it’s worth to try. We ordered the Deluxe buffet (includes sushi, sashimi, seafood, and premium meat)and drink and desert buffet too. It costs around 250$ for two people.

Quality meat and great service. We got the 69 dollars option which included meat, sides, salad, soup, curry and ice cream. Drinks are not included. Our favorites were beef rib, beef tongue and garlic prawn!

We opted for the bento sets at lunch rather than Japanese BBQ.

It’s the best Japanese grill I’ve ever tried. Unli wagyu and scallops omg plus the hot sake, its a must try! seems like 1.5 hrs limit is not enough though. but you should be full by then. Love the eel too. Everything is high quality, they got a tablet for the menu where you can order and they serve pretty fast, love this place! We ate here like 3 times during our vacation in Sydney!

Suminoya is a well-known Japanese BBQ restaurant in Sydney for almost 20 years now. Me and friends enjoyed the dining experience at Suminoya, particularly the variety of wagyu beef options. Seafood options like prawns and scallops and sashimi. And of course finishing with few glasses of cold beer

Hidden Gem! Amazing Japanese food and service and ambience, in a secret lane between two streets. If you don’t know, you don’t know. I went with my Japanese colleague, this is one of her favourites. We loved the BBQ set, the Wagyu was amazing and so was the Miso soup.

The staffs are friendly and accommodating they are not rude unlike what the other reviews had said. The environment was good and not smoky! The food was fresh and so good specially the wagyu! The salmon was so fresh and so delicious! There’s a timer on the ipad to let you know how many minutes are left to order. Another thing is that, you must book a reservation if you don’t want to miss the night eating here. Overall, it was a good buffet experience.

Took my fiance here for our engagement dinner and don’t regret picking this favourite of mine! Excellent food and service! I’m so glad they didn’t cut back in quality after COVID. Staff were very friendly especially Paisui/Pai and the food came out quickly. Highly recommend the rib finger BBQ!
