Amazes me why this restaurant isn’t more packed/busy than it currently is. the food is fantastic, and all our Italian friends say it’s the closest thing to Nonna’s cooking. Only criticism is that the potato skins aren’t as crispy as they used to be.

Nice tiny spot on Lygon st. The Sicilian arancini does not come with additional bolognaise sauce on top. The vegetable pizza was tasty but difficult to cut into with the standard knife.

Amazing place. Vegetarian platter was beautiful- made veggies yummy. The matriciana was on point! The flavour was intense with plenty of bacon and olives. Only downside was that they ran out of potato skins (which is meant to be delicious as well). Guess we’ll have to try it on our next visit. Wait staff were also friendly and helpful. Will become our new regular for Italian.Amazing place. Vegetarian platter was beautiful- made veggies yummy. The matriciana was on point! The flavour was intense with plenty of bacon and olives. Very disappointing breakfast. Pancakes were doughy and berry sauce not tasty, looked reheated frozen, and nowhere near enough. Coffee shot was super expensive. My friend had the breakfast with the name of the place and it came without all the items on the menu. Staff did not let us know about very long wait either or would have ordered the cakes that kind of looked okay instead.Came here night after special occasion from interstate and do not recommend.Very disappointing breakfast. Brunch in Lygon St. Nice, I had the vegetarian option, which was delicious and plenty. Rest of Lygon St, very quiet. Only a couple of places open prior to 12 noon. Staff, friendly, polite and attentive (was quiet though). I’m happy to go back again.
