Amazing food with an amazing view looking out onto the marina and ocean. Food was decently priced and really tasty, I loved my eggs bene and caramel thickshake. Stopped into Bowen for breakfast on the way down to Proserpine and definitely a great stop to make!

Very pleasantly surprised. This venue has had a varied past. But put all that behind it. The service. Food. Drinks and the view are great. I had the fish cakes. Super yummy.

Ordered our meal paid for it then was told it’ll be half an hour wait which I said was fine , ordered a battered fish burger and a baked potato after an hour my husband went up to see what had happened to our order, they said will be next , he said we want our money back because we had waited over an hour and had somewhere to be they yelled at him there’s no refund you’ll not be getting a refund . And your order is nearly ready .15 minutes later we finally get our order staff were very rude except for the lovely lady at the bar . will not be coming back here and if you’ve got the whole day to spend waiting for a burger and a potato go for it I have worked in hospitality catering for huge weddings and got over 180 meals out in less than an hour they had about 20 people there The cooking staff need to learn time management skills and how to organise themselves along with good manners towards customers

My wife and I have been eating at the Starboard Cafe for some years now and have never had a bad experience. The coffee is great and we get the famous fish tacos almost every time. We sometimes look at the menu but I do not know why as we usually end up with fish tacos. In one review I see that they complained it took longer for the menu food than the cabinet food and this proves it is because the menu food is fresh and cooked from scratch.

My lunch came out at least 25 mins before my husband’s! So he had to eat on his own (which he hates) he ordered fish tacos, we asked for more jalapeños because there was hardly any on it!! The waitress even agreed when she seen the plate!! She took it into the kitchen, kitchen staff said that’s how it is, They wanted $2 more!!! Very rude people! Coffee was very ordinary as well!!
