Compact cozy with jam packed crowded confused staff scenes however only add to the fact how popular and good their food is, fresh authentic flavorful Chinese food. Even though is a bit pricey it accounts for their quality and generous portions. Definitely a great eats

Have eaten here many times and the food is pretty good and there’s live seafood and variety. Went to celebrate a birthday. Booked a table for 14, the table was small so we were sitting on each others chairs to fit. It was a very full house so our chairs were against other chairs on tables behind us.

I love the curry fish balls, in fact, I have asked the receptionist first, got confirmation and then walked in. Great fish balls, truly original. The sour and spicy taste from the pork trotter is lovely too. If it is a sunny day, eating outside in the sun is chill. A popular restaurant, booking is essential.

Nice Chinese, I came here for dinner it was about 9:30 so it was late. I ordered some veggies with bean curd and chilli, and I had pork shu mai, and some spring rolls. The waiter knew so much about seafood. I can’t want to go and try the lobster 🙂

Consistently good food. Yum cha on weekends are always busy so best to book ahead. Live seafood to choose from and a huge selection of fine wine on display.

I haven’t had the chance to try out other yum cha restaurants in Adelaide, so my review might be a bit limited. We ordered various traditional yum cha dishes, like chicken feet, siu mai, and ha gou. Only the Ha gou stood out as delicious. They offer three types of chicken feet, which is quite exciting! We tasted two of them – the black bean sauce variety was decent but could use some chili for an extra kick. The white one lacked proper marination and needed more time to improve. The siu mai were a bit too meaty for my liking. Unfortunately, we ended up with a plate of radish cake that had gone bad.

Food was fresh and very tasty. Went for lunar new year and got to experience the lion dancers while eating lunch. Staff were attentive and efficient.

I was recommended by a local Chinese friend that I made on this trip (aka the Hongkong owner of Ban Ban) to visit Star House (稻香)for dim sum yum cha. All the Cantonese popular dim sum are available. Unfortunately, there are only 3 of us and there is a limit of how many different dishes we can try. All the dishes that we had was good.
