The best prawn spring rolls I’ve ever had and I’m half Asian and been eating them my whole life.. I also rate their seafood chowder it’s was full of flavour and chucks of fish served with toast I also had garlic bread with it which was perfect. Washed it down with a cold beer. Staff really helpful and friendly, located on the esplanade overlooking the water.

Very good location and food was great. Portions were fairly big, especially the risotto. The crumbed fish with butter/lemon was delicious. Kid was happy while waiting with the crayons which is always a plus.

Probably our favourite restaurant in Cairns. Have been going here for maybe 15 years. We love a wine and snack to a great dinner. We always have the entree calamari which sometimes changes flavour. Last time was mango sauce with it. My husband always has the eye fillet and I mix it up with whatever specials they have. Always fantastic. Lovely to sit outside and watch the busy esplanade.

FRESH LOCAL SEAFOOD: my first time at Splash. The service was friendly and attentive and the restaurant ambience was nice. I ordered the calamari entree and the Macadamia crusted King Threadfin main. The calamiri was fresh and tender (could have used a bit of garnish) but very tasty. The Threadfin fillet was perfectly cooked and the macadamia crust and the sauce was a great flavour combination. The only negative I have is the kitchen service was very slow and my main took over an hour to be served (The restaurant was not that busy).

This was a beautiful restaurant to enjoy a seafood meal. The Staff were so friendly and happy they definitely make you feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious and the variety was great. The restaurant has indoor or alfresco dining as most restaurants on the Esplanade which I love. I had the Barramundi with salad. Sadly I have to say it wasn’t the best I had eaten while in Cairns and it was quite pricey for the dish I had. The staff really made this restaurant experience what it was.

For my European taste, the restaurant is wonderful and made me feel like home. The food was delicious, threadfin fillet overcame all expectations. And desserts made an amazing ending of our dinner. Pavlova and Brownie 10/10

Beautiful food, great atmosphere for both couples and families. Cocktail of the day was amazing , and the fish was cooked to perfection. Leave home early to get a park on weekends as it gets very busy and limited bays on street. Staff were attentive and happy. A little more expensive than we usually go for, but worth it for the money. Highly recommend
