This place is just around the corner from our house so convience is good, BUT the spend $5 rule on your card is an issue. Today ( as a regular ) i go in, buy a block of butter & 2 btls of Coke at $8.45 while its processing on our Credit Card I ask if I can get out $20 cash on another card. He then proceeds to tell me I have to spend another $5… hello I just purchased goods! It’s not my fault Heritage took out the ATM and Spar Express isn’t getting one in till Wednesday! The guy decided to let it go but if I’d spent another $5 he would have been happy. People don’t carry much cash anymore and you wouldn’t have a business without an Eftpos machine you’d go broke it’s just a rule to get people to spend more money. For the moral of it you’ve lost 2 customers because if I see my husband in there he’s dead!! Lol
