We stopped at Kempsey on our way from Brisbane to Sydney. Ham & cheese croissant, toasted reuben, tricky coffee order & a hot chocolate all served with a smile. The food was really really good, great coffee. Can highly recommend.

Driving from Gold Coast to Sydney today and needed some lunch. We always drive because we take our dog everywhere. Eating on the road is tough because I am a fussy eater so I rely on reviews to pick my feeds. Very happy pulled in here. Awesome store that sells everything. I got a steak sandwich and was surprised by the quality of the steak. It was a nice piece of meat. My wife got a cheese burger which I had a bite of the and the patty was also very high quality and tasty. This will be my regular stop on this drive for sure.

Lovely place and great coffee. What let’s it down was observing one of the kitchen staff throwing their cigarette into the gutter. Hopefully this reaches the owner and they can modify the behaviour of the staff to dispose of their waste correctly.
