Ate at this store today and ordered a noodle bowl, i had found a piece of sharp plastic about 30mm long half way through eating it. When i showed the staff i was offered a spring roll or a drink, but i was put off the food and explained that. When i asked for a refund he refused because i had eaten half of it. In the end i was given half my money back but he was reluctant to do so. Will never be going here again. -1/10

Always a great experience with Soonta! I have witnessed a woman abusing Kevin just before Christmas and he was calm and collected and asked her to please stop being rude. Noone should put up with abuse, however, every encounter with Kevin is quite pleasant and he has always provided me and my family with care and respect.

Disgusting customer service.. I will never go to that store or any other Soonta store. I went to Elizabeth shopping centre and as I was there I wanted to have a late lunch so I ordered from Soonta and paid. As the guy (Kevin) was preparing my food I got an urgent call from a childcare centre which I panicked about and took. He started asking me what sauce I wanted as I was on the phone and talked over me so I pointed and told him to give me a minute because I was on an urgent call. He insisted on talking over me and asked again what sauce, again I said I was on the phone. Then he says to me “you’re being rude by being on the phone” I again explained it was an urgent call and walked a distance away to concentrate on my call. Once the call ended I went back sincere and said I was on an urgent call from childcare, he continued to say “you’re being rude, you should not be on the phone while I prepare your food” and pointed his finger at me. I got quite annoyed and simply told him to finish my food and that I was not there to buy manners. He just would not stop being aggressive.. I was so put off I told him to simply give me a refund and I did not want the food anymore. He went to the register and said ‘I will give you your f**king refund and shut up”.. I was shocked, I had a young child in the pram with me and there were young girls around me who should not be hearing any swearing.. I told him not to swear but he continued.. I took my money and told him I was calling security to which he said ‘go ahead, I don’t care’. When I called security and centre management, they supposedly spoke to him and he told them he was sorry for the swearing yet wasn’t willing to apologise to me face to face.. he wanted to record his apology on the phone so I can hear it from centre management’s phone which to me is a cowardly act.. he swore at me and humiliated me face to face yet wasn’t willing to apologise. I simply expressed my disgust and disappointment at centre management and promised I would never return to that shopping centre and will never eat at Soonta’s if these are the kind of employees they have.
