Very nice and cozy restaurant. I like all the Thailand decorations around. The service was great and quick (and they advised us it was short staff but it was quick anyway). The waitress very kind and helpful with my choice, she gave some recommendations. The food very tasty, delicious and big amount (I had take away leftovers). Price good. I am sure we will come back again.

We have been regular customers at this restaurant, often enjoying their delicious food and takeaways. However, our last two visits were rather disappointing. The previous time, we received a meat dish instead of the requested vegetarian option. And this time, despite ordering medium hot, the spice level was extremely high, much hotter than we anticipated.

Oh my goodness – the best Thai place we’ve been to in Australia!! We LOVE Thai. Felt like we were back in Thailand. Could not believe how big the dishes were!!! We had to take some of our meals home. Absolutely stunning flavours, incredibly authentic too. Loved the little indoor dining area! Can’t wait to go back! We ordered gluten free Tom Kha with vegetables, and Panang with vegetables.

Super good food & 12/10 recommend! We ordered the entrée platter which was so good to share for 2. Super authentic. Love the dessert too, highly recommend the black rice pudding with coconut sauce & taro with waterchestnut & coconut sauce! Will love to come back again

I’ve heard so much about Songkran from work colleagues. When I did try it, I came to realise that what I’ve heard is definitely true, Songkran has one of the best Thai food in Cairns. Their menu is huge and the prices are very reasonable, esp consistent their portion sizes are very generous too.

Cost me $85 for very bland and disappointing food. None of the dishes were seasoned with salt let alone garlic, ginger or coriander. The Massaman tasted like beef stew. I had heard great things about this restaurant and am very displeased. Very sad my craving goes unsatisfied. Waste of money.

Absolutely delicious food. I purchased an entree dish that had 4-5 items in it, because I had not tried any dishes before from this restaurant, and was absolutely impressed by the quality and taste.
